  • Nonsuch Archers shoot for Surrey
Five Nonsuch archers formed part of the Surrey County Archery Team in an intercounties match against Kent on 1st August 2010.

For the compounds, Martin Creasey and Dave Morris both scored 1164 for the York, beating their respective Kent opponents and helping the Surrey compound team to an overall win. Special mention should also go to former member Justin Phillips who shot an extraordinary 1250, Grand Master Bowman standard score and the highest score of the day. (unfortunately the event did not have record status)

For the Juniors both Katrina Skeet and Pippa Jowett broke the existing club record for the Bristol III, which had stood previously unbeaten for 30 years. Their handicap adjusted scores were each good enough to beat their Kent counterparts. Pippa's score of 916 was a new club record at Under 14 and Under 16 and she also had the highest handicap adjusted score of the day.

For Longbows Adrian Cox came in 4th highest placed Surrey archer.

Our Surrey Team members (and Justin) are in the picture below:

    Well done all!

  • New speed limit - Warning!!!
We've been advised that the speed limit on Reigate Road is being reduced from 40 MPH to 30 MPH very soon. This will apply from the Esso/Tesco roundabout at the bottom of the hill along the Reigate Road past the club - 30 signs have already been spotted, so it's obviously imminent. Please beware !!!
