Welcome to the Junior News Page!
Here you will find almost everything and anything to do with the juniors of Nonsuch Bowmen, starting with this year 2012.
FEBRUARY FROSTBITE NEWS
This month we had a snowy frostbite which did result in some cold juniors but some good scores as well!
Well done to Robert Giddings, Rebecca Hughes, Ellie Livingstone, Pippa Jowett, and Beatriz Taylor for turning out to shoot.
The team for this month stands as:
1. Pippa Jowett with a score of 299
2. Beatriz Taylor with a score of 277
3. Ellie Livingstone with a score of 161
Unfortunately Rebecca and Robert didn't make the team, but it seems they did enjoy the snow! :D
And once again thanks to the Livingstone's for the cakes! :)
See You Next Month!

The snow before the Juniors! ;D
JANUARY FROSTBITE NEWS
For the January Frostbite we had an impressive Junior turn-out, suggesting a big score total (hopefully). Here's a list of all the JUNIOR achievements from that one afternoon:
Well done to Lewis Grover for managing to out shoot his dad Steve, and beat his score! As well as this, Lewis made the Junior Frostbite Team! Well Done Lewis!
Another Well Done to Pippa Jowett, for her impressive 300 streek in this years Frostbite's, as she scored 309. This meant that she made the Adult Recurve A Team, and was top junior archer this month. Not only this, Pip's score managed to beat the majority of the adults that shot this month! Well Done Pip!
Ellie Livingstone was presented with her long awaited and well deserved prize of the Handicap Improvement Medal. This was presented to her by fellow junior and previous medal holder Beatriz Taylor. Ellie had been eager to win this medal for while now, scince her fierce competing with her dad, but she managed to beat him with an improvement of 19! Congratulations Ellie!!! We can look forward to seeing her name being printed in a future Archery UK Magazine - Keep Your Eyes Pealed! P.S: If Ellie doesn't have the medal on her whilst on the field, her dad will have to buy anyone at the field at the time a pint of beer- or chocolate depending on if your underage! So don't forget that medal Ellie, best keep it in that quiver, eh?! :D

The Handicap Improvement Medal
So in the B.A. League the Junior Team stands as this for January:
1. Pippa Jowett
2. Beatriz Taylor
3. Lewis Grover
And a special mention as well to Will Grover, Rebecca Hughes, Seb Jowett, and Robert Giddings who all braved the cold weather and came down to shoot. And remember, even if you didn't make the team this month, there is always next month! Plus your score helps you gain points in our own Nonsuch Frostbite League, without it damaging your handicap!
P.S: Thanks Ellie and Doug for the 'Celebrations' afterwards!
