ICal Format Programme Download
You can download the Outdoor programme in ical format here
Right click and save the file to your desktop (or somewhere you'll be able to find it again)
To import into the Mozilla Thunderbird Calendar:
First, we suggest you create a new calendar (e.g. "archery"). Right click on the Calendars list to create the new calendar. This will avoid you importing it into your main calendar, and will allow you to delete it and replace it if it changes or something goes wrong.
Next, from the Thunderbird menu choose Calendar->Import and select the .ics file you've saved
Finally, choose the calendar you want to import it into (archery, in the example) and click OK
To import into Microsoft Outlook:
In Outlook 2010, you can either open the calendar as a separate file, or import it into your current calendar. The import is good if you want to synchronise with mobile phones etc, but could make it hard to replace with an updated calendar later. Importing into older versions of Outlook (2003 and earlier) is difficult.
To import into Google Calendar:
Log in to your calendar, choose Add under "Other Calendars" and the "Import File"
To import into Palm format:
Again, not easy unless you have a paid copy of something like EssentialPIM Pro which will sync with Palm, or can find (I couldn't) a direct converter from ical to palm pdb format. The easiest way is import the events into your default Google calendar, sign up at goosync.com and use Goosync to synchronise your calendar - however you do need internet access on your Palm to do this so it won't work for everyone. Unfortunately (as I used to use one, and still like them), Palm is virtually dead in it's current format. If you're really desperate for a Palm version please email me and I'll produce something for you.
ICal (Apple Mac):
The file is in ICal format, why do you need to know how to open it?
